Room With A Re-View

I'm again in Boston and the weather is utter shite, 3º C with grey skies and sleet and everyone looking miserable. See here:



This is probably the kind of view seen by those who stayed here in the Marriott during Noreascon in September, though the weather was much better then and people were much more cheerful. When I had arrived I was staying across the road at the Sheraton, and walking across the diagonal bridge in this picture I found myself accompanying a rather frail but very talkative Harry Harrison, who I had previously met at both Novacon and Eastercon. I think everyone's a bit worried for Harry's physical health these days, but he was certainly as mentally alert as ever.

Boston seems very quiet today in comparison to that great weekend.
