IMHO, one of the best press images of the year here. The photographer did brilliantly to capture with such precision the pivotal moment, but considering it was staged by Codepink I suspect he knew it was coming.

There's a small meme going around (I think started by [livejournal.com profile] sneerpout) in which people ask for a photograph of any aspect of someone's life (see here and here for examples).

I'm already working on a small series of images about ordinary life here in England, which I will get round to posting eventually. But instead, as tonight I'm heading to Thailand then down under to Sydney again, leave a comment asking for a photo of a particular aspect of my life over the next nine days. It can be of anything, but please don't ask me to go out of the way to take a particular photo of a particular place, as this is just about life. I'll post whenever I have access to the internet.
