Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia, PA

This photo has been used by the US travel guide site Schmap of Philadelphia, illustrating the downtown Reading Terminal Market, tucked away in the top right corner of the webpage and so small it hardly seems worth it. But the 'permissions' section of their website has a neat and simple way of handling the photos they want to use: if you click "yeah" they keep it and credit it, say "nah" and they bin it.

How do they verify that the person clicking the link has the right to give them permission to use the photo?

Well Done!

It's great to see your pictures on an offcial site. I look forwards to other online publications with my friends photos on. Do you know any others I might know?

They contact you at your Flickr mailbox, on the assumption that you are the only one with access, and give you a link to click on which takes you their Y/N page.

Few if any, unfortunately. Do you know [livejournal.com profile] humanoid_27, who has a large site of UK convention photos? I'll be posting a few more 'used photos' backstories, but meantime just click on the 'lives of photographs' tag for others that appeared elsewhere this year.
