Went to Boston with an empty suitcase and came back with 24.7kg of first edition SF from Avenue Victor Hugo (I think I've done my bit this month in the cause of independent booksellers). Also said farewell to their resident cat Blue, who was curled up in the biography section next to a radiator. Even though the shop is closing in a couple of months I was told that the various bookdealers who run the shop will probably be reunited at an 'Avenue Victor Hugo' table in the Noreascon dealer's room in September.

Off to Washington DC this afternoon, and I shall be taking with me autopope's Singularity Sky to alleviate the boredom that is Tyson's Corner.
