Falling You, Touch, 2004
The CD that I put on 'repeat' more than any other this year. There's a good third-party review of it posted at fossil_dungeon's LJ here (Fossil Dungeon being their record label). There are probably better goth comparisons to be made, but their music is almost like recent Dead Can Dance without the angst, and is therefore gorgeous. There are some truly outstanding tracks with the rest of it being merely very good. I discovered it while looking for good Creative Commons music at the rather excellent Magnatune site where you can also stream the whole album for free if you want to hear it first. Sounds very interesting - although I like the angst with Dead Can Dance (but that's how you sold it to me).

As do I. I overdosed on Into the Labyrinth big time several years ago.

BTW, I shall be in Bangalore on Xmas day, probably a bit too far from Chennai...
