'Saucersanta' for one week only! (but kudos to [livejournal.com profile] separated who's used her Xmas icon all year round).

And a very happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] sbisson.

The very same.

And to me too, albeit yesterday. :)

That's the problem with not always being within typing distance of a computer for several days at a time, I inevitably skip some birthdays.

So a belated Happy Birthday to you too!

That is Plan A... Plan B involves staying home and nursing this cold.

Very impressive! Santa hats are definitely the Christmas signifier this year.

BTW I meant to comment on how much I enjoyed the "BA in-slang" but I lost the thread - which I am blaming on combined lurgy and still relative newness to the whole blog thing.
When I was working at Vodafone, I was faxed the phonetic alphabet by my contact in the RAF who got a little fed up with me saying "F for Freddy" and "S for Sugar", but that was as close to slang as it got (the rest probably not suitable for public fax).
At Pepsi, we don't have anything quite so entertaining, only the irritatingly ungrammatical
"learnings" - mistakes we will try not to make next time but we're not about to get judgemental here and
"new news" - which just means news but the repetition is supposed to make it sound more important or recent than ordinary news.

As they also were last year... see what else [livejournal.com profile] bohemiancoast got up to with Photoshop here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/bohemiancoast/44019.html).
