Football: it's all so predictable. Portugal in the quarter finals, Rooney sent off after kicking a bloke in the balls, England lose on penalties. I wonder if anyone had the foresight to put money on that precise sequence of events.

Who: a Cybermen/Dalek alliance is a major bit of fan-wank, but why not? Very good, and Tennant's constant playing-for-laughs rankled with me a little less than previously.

Actually, what fans have always wanted is not an alliance, but a war! Daleks and Cybermen kicking the shit out of each other. And that appears to be what we are going to get.
