Possibly 100,000 people assembled at London's Marble Arch yesterday at noon for the Stop the War Coalition demonstration, calling for the UK government to urge a ceasefire in the Israel/Lebanon conflict. At around 1pm the slow walk began along Park Lane, then further across the city.
