Not the best news to wake up to, I heard this morning that Kurt Vonnegut has died, after brain injuries from a fall. What a great loss.

People like Vonnegut, or Hunter S. Thompson, shouldn't be dying in the middle of Bush's presidency. It's such a bummer of a point at which to be leaving the theatre, without seeing how it turns out.

Agreed. And while you can't choose the way you're going to go, I'd like him to have had a slightly more dignified way off this world. Shit happens, so it goes.
