Was at my parents' house at 2pm, where they have Classic FM on all day. After the big news about Blair's departure the first piece of music they played was from Holst's 'Planets' Suite – 'Jupiter', the planet of joy. I do like subtlety.

Even more subtle (or not): 'Jupiter' was the source of the hymn tune 'Thaxted' aka 'I Vow to Thee, My Country' and formerly the Tory party anthem.

[For a neat twist on 20th century politics, look up 'Thaxted' on soc.history.what-if on Google groups: it's a several part series of polsts charting what happens after Alderman Roberts and his family move from Grantham to Thaxted just in time for Peggy to fall under the influence of a Red Vicar. And yes, Tony B does make an appearance towards the very end!]
