Propanalol was mentioned as a bad memory suppressor (or at least a way of removing the emotional impact of a bad memory) in a Boston Legal episode a few months back, where a teenager wanted to remove the traumatic memories of being raped by her rabbi.

"Propranolol as an experimental treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder was a subject of the television show Boston Legal, Season 3, Episode 14, Selling Sickness."

I doubt their new take on journalism will be all that riveting.

However, if they made all their recordings and notes available and allowed others to use them to make their own versions of the news or opinion pieces - then that'd be something else!

But it'd be just the BBC's data, so based on what they thought was worth recording. So ideally a lot of different news gatherers would be doing the same, thus allowing a richer source of material to make your news stories from.
