MAJOR GOOD:•  Benji was probably Novacon's first Thai member last weekend and she had a great time meeting everyone, especially GoH
•  Meeting up with
•  Running into the former Thai Prime Minister, Chuan Leekpai, at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok. A very approachable guy, he was there to drop in on the king who's a bit frail these days.
•  We have now looked at half a dozen houses around Bangkok, and there are several we think are great but all have different drawbacks. One, however, was especially good and is being renovated at the moment, so we're hoping to speak to the seller soon and perhaps put a retainer on it. Watch this space, but nothing immediately imminent.
MINOR BAD:
•  The Imperial War Museum at RAF Duxford, where they have a prototype Concorde that Benji was very much looking forward to checking out, was still charging a full entrance fee on Tuesday even though the AirSpace hangar and Concorde were off limits for the day.
•  Alone now for at least three weeks, most of which time I will again be spending decorating, decluttering and attempting to impose some semblance of order on the back garden in lieu of the strong likelihood of putting the place on the market. An impossible number of both small and large jobs to do...
