Hopefully Cambodia will see some proceedings soon (http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/10/02/asia/AS-Cambodia-Khmer-Rouge.php).

...because for the first half of the period, the US (and its allies) were propping up a Khmer Rouge government in exile in revenge for their defeat by the Vietnamese. What is the betting that the US would be quite happy to see the defendants die of natural causes before they finally stand trial, because of the potential embarrassment of the "extentuating circumstances" which might be introduced into the proceedings?
