i know all about the #2 thing. only it's more annoying in a small camera shop...

When in a bookstore I consciously try to be as anonymous as possible, unless I'm somewhere like Galaxy Bookshop in Sydney with someone like i_ate_my_crusts, which makes the whole thing far more interesting and conversational.
