Something I thought I'd never see
Dec. 16th, 2003 09:10 pmA 'For Sale' sign is up outside my parents house, where we moved to in 1967, and where I lived until 1982. I'll be very sad to see that place no longer in the family. It was an excellent home for us all.
I like to think I'd convinced them not to move on a couple of previous occasions (to Wales and Hampshire), and they were eventually glad they didn't as they now still have the family all around them when things aren't so good. At least they're wanting to stay local this time. Now for a few reasons (to do with money and health, mostly) I have to accept it's inevitable. Trying once again to convince them otherwise would be...
