planet, with moon

No sales via Getty listed on their November statement, but they did request another photo: this one of the Siberian coastline seen from above the Sea of Japan, with the moon also visible. When uploading to their site they require certain items of information about each picture such as the country in which it was taken, provided from drop-down menus – but there's no Siberia listed and the most appropriate entry I could make was "Soviet Union", which ceased to exist as far back as 1991. I've e-mailed Getty suggesting that for such a cutting-edge company they might want to do a small but very necessary update...

I've been drooling over the Nikon D90 for ages. More camera than I'd likely ever need?

Just had a reply from Mike Workman (http://www.mikeworkman.co.uk/), my sister's photography tutor:

"I would start by saying well done for picking a Nikon (none of this Canon rubbish) and the D90 is a good camera. It is not the easiest Nikon to use straight away (there are a lot of buttons), but it is designed for the skilled amateur or the starting pro! My advice would be to make sure that you spend your money on good lenses rather than any other accessories."

Hope this helps...

Even Russia wasn't in there? Russian Federation? Bizarre.

"As far back as 1991". Yes, and oh God I feel old!
