Received today, one (1) shiny new hardback of Ken MacLeod's Newton's Wake, due out in a few days...

Et la couverture c'est fantastique... uncredited artwork but I expect it's by Lee Gibbons who also did the 'Engines of Light' trilogy.

EDIT: And I forgot to mention that Ken has dedicated this book to autopope and feorag... photos of 'em at Novacon here and here.

I'm probably not going to buy it until April. I'm giving up books ang games for Lent, so unless it comes out tomorrow, I won't be seeing it until April!

I have a copy too - and so far it is fun space opera in the Stargate SG1 style. But I am only on page 16.
